About Us

De-Movie-Fi aims to leverage Web 3.0 and smart contracts in producing Movies.

We believe in leveraging blockchain driven smart contracts to facilitate commercial production of movies in all avenues and genres. In our platform, exclusive stakeholders will be willing to stake currency to purchase limited edition primary NFTs and be a part of movie business and earn royalties from share in profit from its performance at the box office and through streaming avenues.

Vision

De-Movie-Fi's main objective is to capitalize on the enthusiasm, excitement and growing resurgence of movies and the overall growth of the entertainment landscape. Enabling fans to be part of a group of premier movie producers with a lot of intangibles besides just a high return on investment. Intangibles in the form of secondary NFTs include premiers, exclusive meet & greet, NFTs interacting with your favorite stars in the metaverse etc.

We envision the De-Movie-Fi platform to be a trailblazer in the Indian entertainment industry(with later expansion to other emerging markets) landscapes, providing support to creators, talents, technicians and providing opportunity to investors to be part of marquee movie projects.

Gupta

Ex-EVP of Sony Pictures Network India from 2000 to 2019. He has handled Media Sales across Sports, Hindi and English GEC Hindi and English Movies and Infotainment channels. In his tenure he has conceptualized and executed branded content in Hindi & English. He was responsible for USD 110 Million top line and team size of over 50 people at SONY. He also consulted Shemaroo Entertainments Limited to help them launch their broadcast TV Business in India. He is also a producer for web series "Potluck" (3 Seasons) for SonyLIV (2021/22/23)

Athil

Gafoor

A blockchain solution provider. Athil is adept in evaluating business paradigms to lead development team to success. He is a member of Hyperledger India Chapter as well as IEEE. His experience spans multiple core blockchain technologies including Hyperledger Sawtooth, Corda, Solidity, and Recon.

Darshan

Lakhan is intent on building technocentric experiences with a strong sense of empathy and sustainability. He is experienced in variety of domains, including software engineering, services, sales and consulting. A blockchain certified architect, he is constantly enthusiastic about developing DeFi products and other blockchain base technologies. He has a keen eye to build nuanced multichannel solution that stand strong at a global level.

Our Mentor & Angel

Kunal Dasgupta

Ex-CEO of Sony Pictures Networks India from 1995 to 2009. He is the longest running CEo of a TV media company in India. He is credited in co-creating the Indian Premier League (IPL) with the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI). In his professional experience he has launched Sony Max, Sony PIX and acquired SAB TV and has mentored 12 of his colleagues to become CEOs in the Indian media industry. He secured the global distribution deal for Lagaan (Oscar nominee, 2001) and Mission Kashmir (2000). He has produced nationally and internationally celebrated film Mr. & Mrs. Iyer (2002) and is also a producer for web series "Potluck" (3 Seasons) for SonyLIV (2021/22/23).
